Be spontaneous, we might be dead tomorrow.

Be SpontaneousBe Spontaneous.  So I’m waiting and waiting on paperwork so that I can get out of here and start my new life.   Where? God only knows where but its time to at least get to America and we shall take it from there.  As you can see I don’t like too many plans.  People who organize every detail of a trip military precision months before traveling are a complete nightmare to me.  That takes all the spontaneity out of it as far as I’m concerned.  My motto is “life is what happens when other people are making plans”.

Be spontaneous

Needless to say I’m bored waiting for the paperwork so I do what I do best.  I surf airline websites.  Guess what.  I found a flight to Madrid for under 200 euro, and I bought it.  That is not cheap by the standards you can find but as its last minute its a bargain.  I have a hotel booked but not paid for so if it sucks when I get there, I can change and while I normally stay in apartments, this is really central and other friends are staying there also so Ill have someone to have a glass of Vino and hit a flamenco bar with.  Look out Madrid, this could be dangerous.

So stay tuned for a post from Madrid.  I’m really looking forward to finding some cool places the locals go and thus avoiding the masses of tourists and people who love to rip them off.

Be spontaneous, we might be dead tomorrow.

The noun spontaneity is related to a more common word, the adjective spontaneous. The writer Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Our spontaneous action is always the best. You cannot, with your best deliberation and heed, come so close to any question as your spontaneous glance shall bring you.” He meant that if we learn to trust our instincts instead of weighing the potential consequences of everything we do, we’ll make better decisions.

About Sandra

Just a girl from Ireland who wants to live everywhere. Not a planner, a winger when it comes to travel. I don't even like people who plan too much. Without spontaneity there is no depth. A jack of all trades. A great friend, loyal and passionate and I expect the same in return. Always ready for the next adventure at a moments notice.
